Mariner’s Foibles

Got a visit from someone special this weekend. Slept very little but had a lot of fun. In case you don’t know who she is, just check Facebook. Should be obvious. Wisdom I learned from this weekend to share with you mere mortals:
- Atonement is a terrible movie to watch at 3 am. It’s kinda ok any other time.
- Same with P.S. I Love You
- Playgrounds are way underrated
- Coastal Flats is a great place for dinner
- Girls are so good looking that it’s not even funny.
Seriously, girls, one of the best gifts you can give your guy is putting in the effort to look nice for him. Yes, yes, I know. Sometime you don’t feel like it… and that’s ok. All I’m saying is when it’s reasonable, go for it. We may not say it because we suck at that but it’s appreciated. That is all.
Also, watching Bartolo Colon swing a baseball bat tonight was the funniest thing I’ve seen in months.
