Three definitions come to mind:

  1. Live Life
  2. Live the Life
  3. The name of the new Coldplay album

The newest Apple ad has a clip of the title track on it. Again, I’m convinced that Apple siphons off the most talented, creative, and ingenious graphic designers and chains them up in the Apple Factory to crank out nifty looking user interfaces and jaw-dropping graphics for commercials. You can check out that ad here.

Either way, I’m really excited about this album. I’ve always liked Coldplay and I’m excited to see if they’re going to grow up and maybe take an experimental step. RollingStone posted an exclusive on the album. Then they also posted a track-by-track rundown of it. Full track listing is provided below:

  1. Life in Technicolor
  2. Cemeteries of London
  3. Lost!
  4. 42
  5. Yes
  6. Lovers in Japan / Reign of Love
  7. Viva la Vida
  8. Violet Hill
  9. Strawberry Swings
  10. Death and All His Friends

The album drops on June 17. Pick it up and enjoy. We’ll see if it will make me 3/3 on the year on calling good albums. Previously, I really enjoyed R.E.M.’s Accelerate and Kanye West’s Graduation.

Yesterday the offense was great. We linked up hits, got a few choice home runs, and generally flew around the base paths. The defense was terrific and Bartolo Colon is looking more and more like the best free agent move of the entire offseason. Today Wakefield (3-4, 4.70) goes up against Guthrie (2-6, 3.64) who, unfortunately, is clearly the Orioles best pitcher this year. But then again Wake has never looked better.

After that we play host to the first-place Rays for three games. Baseball Tonight just reported the matchups as follows:

  1. Masterson (1-0, 1.46) vs. Garza (4-1, 3.78)
  2. Beckett (5-4, 4.30) vs. E. Jackson (3-4, 3.70)
  3. Lester (3-3, 3.67) vs. Shields (4-3, 3.24)

This is gonna be a big, big series. Clearly they have the hot hands on the mound right now and they just don’t lost baseball games right now. But they’re too young to mean anything this season. Still, this is gonna be a scary team in two years. I’m just glad we get them at home right now.

A reported asked Manny what his next home run goal was…

501.

And he got it today. What a legend.

Welcome to the blog! Usually a little “about me” info should go here but I’m gonna stick that in the “about me” section. It seems like everyone is blogging now so I guess I will too. I’m going to be in Northern Virginia for the summer working/having fun at an internship with FCA but I’ll be around the nation on trips some and at the beach a little.

Anwyay… hope anyone reading enjoys!
